In the past year, The Wayside has opened 6 new homes with another 6 on the way for 2015. The agency’s second Pathways Adult Day Program opened in Valley View this past November to provide a community-based activities program where participants are safe, valued, respected and happy. We’ve also added several accessible vans to our transportation fleet in order to ensure that the individuals we serve can take their rightful place within the community at-large. The people Wayside supports are involved in 33 communities that range west to Oberlin, east to Pepper Pike and south to Medina. They have work to do, school to attend, family and friends to visit and a world of things to see and experience.
All of which brings us right back “home”. More than a physical location, “home” is where you have the opportunity to do more than live … it’s where you have the opportunity to thrive. Our Lady of the Wayside. Home to Opportunity.
