And Wayside isn’t the only place Tim volunteers his time, he also helps out a local hospice in Berea doing crafts with residents and cleaning. When Tim is not volunteering you can find him playing music with his roommate Matt, delving into crafts in his basement, going to the movies, shopping for deals at Value World or eating at McDonald’s-his favorite place. The activities don’t stop there! He skypes frequently with his brother who lives in Japan, helps out around the house, bowls and goes on outings with other area homes. Tim also likes to travel, recently visiting family in Seattle and Colorado and going on a cruise with his Mom to San Juan.
Wayside’s vision is to empowers individuals to exercise their right to meaningful, productive lives by creating opportunities to achieve that shared reality and we are thrilled that we can provide that opportunity for Tim and each of the individuals we serve.
So if you are at Pathways for Garden or Craft Club make sure you stop by and see what Tim and folks are up to! To learn more about Pathways, Garden Club or any of Wayside programs visit www.thewayside.org.
