One of those individuals is Renee, who resides in a Wayside home and enjoys going to the Southwest Adult Activities Center each week at her job through SAW, Inc. assembling products for a local company. SAW, Inc., the nonprofit affiliate of the CCBDD, is one of the largest employers of individuals with disabilities in Ohio. Renee can also participate in the many activities SWAAC provides each week. Partnering with the CCBDD has allowed the individuals Wayside serves opportunities for employment, social interaction and greater participation in the community. Creating opportunities and opening doors is what we’re all about at The Wayside. One way we do that is through partnerships with agencies like the Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities. They offer a variety of programs and services that the individuals we serve partake in.
