It's been almost 3 months and Garden Club continues to be a time participants from our Pathways Day Programs look forward to! Recently they've been able to pick tomatoes and basil that they've grown to make pesto. Using fresh flowers they created their own personal floral arrangements to take home. Everyone was patiently waiting for the sunflowers in the garden to bloom and it was a wonderful surprise when a few showed up earlier this week! As always, lot of smiles and laughter while spending time with their friends.
Pathways Garden is a place that inspires the individuals we serve to learn from one another and creates a space for enjoyment of plants and other forms of nature. You can learn more about garden club along with out other programs at www.thewayside.org.
