Wayside CEO Terry Davis stated, “This event just keeps getting bigger and better. With the help of Giant Eagle and other sponsors, almost two million dollars has been raised since the event was created in 2000. And like all of our events, many of the residents we serve were in attendance, so the people who support us see first- hand what affect The Wayside has had in creating opportunities for them to live safe, happy and full lives.”
In addition to the wine, beer, food and music guests got a chance to bid on an exciting Chinese auction with beer or Cleveland themed items, try out the beer slide or capture the fun in the photo booth.
Those guests in the Majic of Wine VIP area nibbled on delights from Spice Kitchen & Bar and participated in a wine tasting with the event's featured wines. The winner of the Best of Red this year was Tom Gore’s Cabernet Sauvignon while Hogue’s Late Harvest Riesling took top honors in the Best of White category.
All proceeds raised from this event will benefit Wayside's programs and services for individuals with disabilities in Northeast Ohio.
